Senior Project Manager for Stanford Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in the Palo Alto, Responsibilities included Construction Administration (RFI’s, Implementation into the Architectural Drawings), Client Management (Design & Construction Team and Operations Team), Equipment Budgeting (Cost Analysis for Equipment Changes due to Validation, items being discontinued or advanced technology since Design Development), Architectural Drawings (coordination of REVIT families to Architect for implementation into OSHPD documents, Vendor Management (coordination of site visits, facilitator between GC and Design Team, coordination Site Specific Shop Drawings, obtaining owner sign-off for Fabrication, etc.), Lead Meetings and Procurement Readiness (obtaining quotations for items and preparing for Procurement team.)
Responsible for primary client interface and project management of planning, project scheduling, transition planning and procurement management projects. Responsibilities include architectural planning, leading user review meetings, developing custom procurement processes, and developing equipment procurement schedules. Additional responsibilities include Request for Proposal process, bid analysis and recommendation, vendor Terms and Conditions negotiation, equipment requisitioning, vendor drawing review and transmittals and coordination with the design team on technical details of equipment utilities.
Planning, Design & Construction Department. Experienced in all phases of healthcare design, from programming and through schematic design, design development with user groups, production drawings, consultant coordination and construction administration. Daily tasks included writing RFPs, budgets, estimates, scheduling, procurement through Lawson and completing ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessments). Projects included renovations and moves for departments such as; Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hematology Oncology, IV Oncology, Med-Surg Patient Floor, Office Renovations and Hazardous Materials Storage.
