At BetterUp I spent several years as Director of Talent Acquisition, spanning hiring strategy, GTM, R&D and G&A recruiting, as well as Recruiting Operations. A few areas I've gone deep on: Hiring quality & talent bar Designed BetterUp's company-wide Talent Bar and end-to-end interview architecture from scratch, including structured rubrics across all role-agnostic pillars. Fully redesigned both R&D and Sales hiring processes to increase assessment rigor and efficiency. These changes aligned the company behind a common, measurable definition of our hiring bar, tightened pass-through rates and improved quality of hire. Hiring sprints & GTM recruiting Built and led multiple hiring sprints across Engineering and GTM, including full funnel modeling, interviewer capacity planning, reporting and bolstering recruiting team capacity for sprints through contractors and agency partnerships. Recruiting operations & technology Lead full revamp of recruiting tech stack, focusing on efficiency, capability and budget, saving 50% on yearly budget through tool consolidation without compromising features & functionality. As part of this work, spearheaded the ATS migration from Greenhouse to Ashby. Led adoption of AI tooling a including HireVue, Guide/Aria for scheduling automation, and in-house built tooling to increase recruiter efficiency, assessment quality and interviewer enablement. People leadership Built and rebuilt recruiting teams across multiple cycles. Recognized by managers for analytic rigor, choice cascade, and team development that raised the bar across recruiting pods.
Led recruiting for Ads, Commerce, Payments, Trust and UX, partnering with SVP/VP leaders to drive global inclusive hiring strategies aligned with organizational goals. Surpassed prior record hiring year by 38% through process redesign that accelerated hiring velocity by 30%.
Led candidate pipeline strategy and delivery for Google’s 5 largest engineering profiles. Doubled the organization to 200+ across multiple US sites, including scaling two sub-teams by 5x and 2x within 9 months, including re-engineering process and strategy. Led revamp of India-based recruiting vendor operations driving savings of $1M/year.
Spearheaded candidate pipeline strategy and delivery for Software Engineering across US distributed offices (everything outside of the Bay Area). Led an organization of 60 across multiple US locations Oversaw revamp of candidate pipeline reporting infrastructure and operational model to better respond to dynamic site hiring needs.
Hired as a Corporate Trainer post-acquisition to help ensure the smooth rollout of S.i. Systems' recruitment management system to the new staff. Developed the training program from scratch and conducted the associated training sessions.
