I am a transfer Nursing student from Southwestern College to San Diego State actively seeking opportunities for growth and experience. Going on 3 years now, I currently work in a post acute care facility to supplement my learning with on site skill application. My core values are patient safety, patient care, and patient satisfaction. I strive to be the compassionate nurse that patients look forward to having, and I am eager to grow into this role everyday.
Skilled patient care for 12-24 patients per shift. Excellently performing skills such as taking vital signs, bathing, and feeding in the post acute care setting, all while prioritizing patient safety and infection control. Fluent charting skills using Point Click Care. Also practiced observing and reporting pertinent information back to the nurse and therapeutic communication skills.
