- Singapore Army representative at the United Kingdom Advanced Command and Staff Course 29 - Lead International Course Member for International Cohort of ACSC 29 (99 Members, 46 Nations) ACSC aims to prepare mid-ranking UK and international military officers, and civil servants, for senior positions; focusing on geopolitics, international relations, security studies, policy and strategy.
Shaping and executing strategic plans to ensure the Army remains operationally ready . It spans critical areas such as resource strategy, manpower management, and force transformation, directly contributing to the Army’s operational excellence and long-term sustainability. Army Manpower Resource Strategy 1. Long-Term projection of manpower resource investments to ensure optimal readiness and capability 2. Align manpower planning and investments with evolving operational requirements and defence priorities. Force Transformation 1. Drive initiatives to enhance the Army’s structure, processes, and operational efficiency. 2. Established new structures to prepare the Army for 2040 Capability Development and Integration 1. Support the development and integration of capabilities to ensure operational readiness. 2. Support the Army’s mission through effective coordination of resources, training, and long-term strategic planning.
Commander, Hunter Company. 1. Developed the new Hunter Company operating concept to exploit the platform's Full-Digitisation, Enhanced Communications, and Network Capabilities. 2. Led a team of 100+ personnel and subordinate leaders, managing multi-million dollars of equipment. 3. Managed Company Administration, Humans Resource, Operations and Training. 4. Organised of Key Events such as Bn Skill at Arms, a 2 day evaluation cum training 5. Innovation - Developed and Constructed Hunter Battle Course Simulation System to build foundational skills and drills and enhance safety prior to field training.
Responsible for the Singapore Army's Training and Safety Policy, and Strategic Planning (Training). 1. Army Training Policy Governance - Formulated, Enforced and Reviewed Training Policy for the Army 2. Army Safety Transformation - Enhanced Army Training Policy to Strengthen Safety and calibrate organisational tempo 3. COVID-19 Management - Developed and implemented policies to enable the organisation to maintain effective training and essential activities whilst managing transmission risk. 4. Organisational Excellence - Best Unit Competition (BUC) Manager - Analysed training, ops and admin data of units to assess and analyse the performance of ground units. 5. Product Manager of the SAF Electronic Training, Evaluation, Administration and Management System (eTEAMS) - Oversaw the enhancement of eTEAMS in 2020 - 2021 to improve the user experience, recording and analysis of training data in the SAF.
Liaison and Communication 1. Acted as a primary point of contact between SMS and internal/external stakeholders, including government agencies, military units, and international counterparts. 2. Managed SMS's social media, worked with comms organisations to execute social media strategy. Event and Visit Coordination 1. Planned and managed logistics for official events, visits, and engagements, ensuring smooth execution. 2. Accompanied SMS to provide on-the-ground support and ensured seamless operations.
