With over five years of experience as a co-founder and Chief Design Officer at IMPACT ACOUSTIC and founder at ChatPod, I am passionate about creating sustainable and circular design solutions that make a real impact on people and the planet. I specialize in developing high-performance acoustic products made from recycled materials, such as PET bottles and cardboard, that are 100% recyclable, lightweight, easy to handle, and aesthetically pleasing. As a rebel and innovator, I go beyond mere data and facts and integrate emotion into my design process, infusing a sense of humanity and meaning into my work. I collaborate with local suppliers and social organizations to source and assemble my products, and I constantly seek new ways to improve the environmental and social quality of the design industry. My mission is to challenge the ordinary and inspire others to join me in the permanent beta of sustainable and circular design.
IMPACT ACOUSTIC® is a Swiss company, specialised in providing high-performance acoustic solutions made from recycled PET bottles. Our ARCHISONIC® acoustic absorbers are a direct response to ecological sustainability and environmental quality requirements facing contemporary interior design and fit-out. Produced from recycled PET and now further additives, it is 100% recyclable. The advantages of common acoustic absorbers include lightweight, easy to handle and process with all common tools like CNC-cutter and even with a Japanese knife. It is extremely robust, can be screwed, is washable and available in large size panels of up to 1800 x 2400 x 24 mm and 1200 x 2800 x 12 mm as standard products.
ChatPod is the first Circular product in the market, made of 97% post-consumer content and 100% recyclable. The cardboard chassis gives a simple and timeless shape. The felt-like interior and exterior finish made from 100% PET acoustic material give the pod the seamless lines. The robust structure made from sawdust that gives the pod the support and a rigid look. The carefully selected materials are sourced locally and assembled in cooperation with the local handicap organization. With less glass surface, ChatPod gives more privacy to the user and the acoustic body finish contribute to improving room acoustics and provides a visual barrier in any existing workspace landscape. As an agile tool, ChatPod can be moved and configured according to your need with ease.
