During my legal career, I have focused primarily on the corporate and securities/capital markets needs of numerous companies from startup to publicly traded, including distressed companies and complex restructuring situations. My positions included serving as a Staff Attorney in the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission, an associate/counsel at international law firms, followed by in-house positions as corporate and securities counsel at a Fortune 500 bank holding company. I have focused on the development and deployment of global satellite systems, and complex strategic investments in those ventures while acting as outside counsel to these companies. I bring a unique legal and business perspective to my clients as I was immersed in the business side of the satellite industry when I transitioned from the role of SVP and General Counsel of a publicly traded satellite company, TerreStar Networks Inc., to President and CEO. In addition, I served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of a wireless services engineering and deployment company, Connectivity Solutions, Inc. Most recently, I am President and General Counsel of IAFS Logistics, Inc., an independent service provider to FedEx Corporation. Handle all aspects of operations and compliance in last mile delivery and pick-up services in Northern Virginia and South Florida. Built business from 8 to over 20 routes with over 50 full-time employees and a fleet of over 45 trucks.
