I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Special Education, which provide a strong foundation for advocating for students within complex educational and social systems. I am skilled in crisis intervention and de-escalation, supporting students during emotionally challenging situations while prioritizing safety and dignity. My experience with social-emotional development allows me to build trusting relationships with students ages 11–14 and help them develop self-regulation and coping skills. I communicate clearly and empathetically with students, families, and school staff, ensuring student voices are heard and needs are addressed. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word to track student data, document interventions, and support informed advocacy decisions.
