Vice President of Business Development, Aerospace. I am responsible for new business development. This to include target list development, identification and evaluation of viable opportunities, project management of solutions development, management and construction of RFQ response, client presentations, contract negotiation, implementation management and ongoing client development.
With CMAC I performed 2 roles, logistic consulting and consulting sales. In the role of consulting, I performed such services as supply chain consulting, vendor selection, implementation project management (both IT and operations). In the role of consulting sales, I both solicited new clients as well as grow current house clients.
Duties included business development for Supply Chain Solutions for the high tech sector. This included consulting with clients to develop the optimal supply chain solution and presenting the value EXEL could provide through superior logistical services. More specifically, this included identification and evaluation of viable opportunities, project management of solutions development, management and construction of RFQ response, client presentations, contract negotiation, implementation management and ongoing client development.
: In the role of Vice President of Solutions, my duties included the management of all solutions resources, workload assignments, budgets, recruiting and general department management duties. I also had the responsibility to evaluate new RFQs and determine and/or advise the COO of fit within Burnhams strategy, likelihood of a win, and resources availability. Often when opportunities were large or strategic, I personally would perform the role of project lead and/or point of contact. All solutions and costing performed were reviewed by me. I also worked very closely with both our sales force, and business development team often performing such functions myself. I performed the role of sales and management of our logistics consulting services. On consulting projects, I most often performed the role of project manager. I was normally the key negotiator on large contract negotiations.
