Experienced program/portfolio manager and leader of cross-functional operations teams within the philanthropic sector, as well as nearly 15 years consulting with multiple global organizations and industries. Prior to working in philanthropy, I spent several years with a large management consulting firm, and smaller boutique consultancies focused on program and change management, business process improvement, organizational development and software implementation for both commercial and government organizations in West Asia, South America, and across the United States.

Managed the strategy and operations activities of the foundation's China Office as a member of the China Leadership Team within the Global Policy & Advocacy division. Our strategies within the CCO span health and development priorities within the country, as well as increasing global contributions from China in key technical areas such as vaccine development and manufacturing, combating Malara/TB/AIDS, and sharing of agricultural expertise to developing countries, including in Africa, among a number of other areas.
As part of the foundation's initial global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, managed internal operations and coordination activities across the global health, development, and policy/advocacy divisions. The foundation began ramping up its global efforts to support rapid public health response and systems capacity, development of therapeutics and vaccines, and coordination of a global response in early Feb, and required a team to help coordinate the staffing, infrastructure, and cross-divisional alignment of activities. I was responsible for building and leading this team to assist efforts across multiple workstreams, including support of executive leadership and key health and development technical experts responsible for the foundation's contributions to the pandemic response effort.
