Wrote initiation reports and built models for numerous industrial companies, including Brink's Security and Kaman. Brink's buy initiation was first to market, lifting shares; shares increased to target (~+75%) then acquired (+100%). Executed timely initiation of Greenbrier from uncovered rail sector: created industry data set, val metrics, sector thesis. Rebuilt all earnings models within three months and then provided ongoing maintenance. Wrote investment reports for a wide-ranging list of covered companies from the industrial equipment, transportation, rental and metals industries. Frequently attended company conferences/site visits and traveled with senior management on non-deal road shows; wrote notes following events. Prepared questions and conducted meetings/calls with executive management teams. Discussed investment opinions and responded to ad-hoc requests from buy-side clients as well as internal sales force. Created client lists to distribute research to targeted customer base.
