Active role in being an intermediary position across both the childcare and youth programs, working on facilities support, program support, curriculum support, communications, and event support.
Supported daily classroom instruction by developing age-appropriate lesson plans, facilitating activities that encouraged social and cognitive growth, and providing one-on-one and small-group learning support. Collaborated with lead teachers to monitor student progress, adapt instructional strategies, mentor new assistant teachers, maintain attendance and daily reports, communicate with parents and faculty, organize classroom resources, and help coordinate special events that strengthened the learning community.
Created persuasive copy for multi-channel marketing campaigns to strengthen brand messaging and audience engagement. Collaborated with creative teams to develop client-aligned concepts, researched target audiences to produce accurate and effective content across platforms, incorporated stakeholder feedback to improve deliverables, and managed affiliate outreach and onboarding through email and direct communication.
Review artistic and literary submissions from around the world with a group of editors in order to select exceptional few for publication in The Ear, Irvine Valley College's official literary journal. I also help to plan events around campus to help promote art and literature within the community, including open mics, readings, and workshops.
