About

Self-imposed Commandments: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. GOLDEN RULE. “Seek not for greatness but seek truth and you’ll find both”. HORACE MANN. "Nun sunt multiplicanda entia sine necessitate". Razor An immigrant and a deist, Jean Guillaume spent the first 2 decades of his life in his homeland where he grew up to become an adept of stoicism. His whole life, guided by these three principles mentioned above, is best described as a piecewise linear function defined in a continuous time domain and devoted to one personal goal: the search for Truth. After graduating from High school, this unique goal led him to decline a “Math study abroad scholarship” and instead enrolled in the Coast Guard to help sustain his brothers and sister financially. A couple years later, the search for Truth took him to the USA where he started a family. He and his EX gave birth in 2006 to a healthy son named Z Guillaume. His pursuit of Truth compelled him to sign up for college where he majored in Math and minored in African American Literature. There, he has found his passion for research. After College, Jean entered a doctoral program and, five years later, received a PhD in Mathematics, with a special focus on Combinatorics. Nowadays, Jean has been enjoying his time as a father and a member of Academia.
