-I am a fit and healthy active non-smoker. My extensive experience within the field of corrosion control began at the age of 23 as a marine coating trainee, at Sigma coatings in Amsterdam. Here I have been schooled and trained to become an allround paint technologist. Starting in the Lab and following the Sigma "University" Since then I have worked for 2 other paint manufacturers International Paint(Akzo Nobel) and Steelpaint GmbH in the marine, offshore and protective coatings area like in civil engineering, where I have been able to improve my skills in relation to technical advising, specification writing, inspection the and supervision of various mid-size to large projects and knowledge of insulation, PFP and CUI in refurbishment as well as new-building. In the meantime and over the years I am specialized in Oil and Gas, FPSO's Wind-energy, Offshore, Ports, Civil engineering, Drydocking, As stated, and besides the coatings I offer you extensive knowledge of Passive fire protection, TSA and insulation (Cini course followed) Customers and business partners describe me as: open, cooperative, knowledgeable, involved, capable to implement a vision, committed, extremely problem solving and pragmatic, a team player and a good sparring partner. Valuable in relation to his knowledge. -I have experience working as coating, Passive fire protection and Insulation Engineer, lead inspector; operational manager. As supervision team member, QA/QC Inspector, as well as senior inspector, supervising inspection workforce. Owners agreed specifications. standards, codes of practice are all adhered to. Worked directly with class surveyors, coating manufacturers, inspection teams, construction teams and other specialized QA/QC teams. -My 37 year background gave me great knowledge of surface treatments and all different kind of simple straight forward coatings systems to sophisticated coatings and linings, TSA/TSZ and PFP during fabrication-new-build, maintenance, repair and refurbishment. -I have always completed and fulfilled the conditions of all contractual obligations successfully.
Working as engineer on the MPF 6, MPFC, MPFD Kizomba C and Fast4ward series 3, in relation to coating, insulation and PFP.
