Holding a Ph.D. in theology (University of St. Michael's College), a Ph.D. in philosophy (Université Laval/Namur University) and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (Regis College), I am a scholar proficient in Christian spirituality and systematic theology, aesthetics, ancient philosophy, and philosophy of science, who is actively involved in ecumenical and interfaith dialogue. My research addresses the question of the human condition in the context of an evolving world where radical evil and suffering are found abiding; a great spiritual concern of our time. I possess significant teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate levels in theology and philosophy and have been serving as Associate Professor of Practical Theology at the Regis St. Michael's Faculty of Theology in Toronto since 2019. I have published 3 monographs, 30 peer-reviewed articles, co-edited one collection of essays, and given over 100 presentations at academic conferences. I currently serve as President of the Canadian Theological Society (2026-27) and Vice-President of the Canadian Corporation for Studies in Religion (2026-29).
I accompany students with discerning suitable field placement sites, contribute to the negotiation of memoranda of agreement with partner organizations, and act as intermediary between the latter and my own institution.
I assist the Editor with the evaluation of received manuscripts, have also contributed to the issue production process and proofreading of manuscripts and entire issues.
I taught graduate level courses in spirituality at the Institute of Pastoral Studies. I also advised students registered in the spirituality program. Courses taught: 545 Foundations of Christian Spirituality, 428 Introduction to Spirituality Praxis, 429 Advanced Spirituality Praxis, 404 Theologies of Suffering.
