• Provide support to senior management during the initial decision making process by leading feasibility assessment of potential divestment options following annual Commercial and R&D portfolio review decisions. (Assess Commercial, finance, manufacturing attractiveness) • Represent DBU in Due Diligence and Deal Teams with potential buyers for divestments or integration deals. • Lead assessment of alternative divestment options (resources, cost, timing, risks & mitigation …). • Ensure appropriate TSA’s are redacted to cover divestment deals transitional services & obligations in line with existing GSK policies & guidelines. • Ensure seamless & timely transfer of divestment responsibility to the designated Asset Lead within DBU. • Organize regular reviews with Corporate Key strategic functions (BD, Tax, Trade Mark ..) for Divestment/Discontinuation Portfolio review update and Best Practices sharing. • Support DBU Head in promotion of DBU expertise/capabilities across GSK and in the development of the DBU strategy and its implementation.
