About

I'm an Aerospace Engineer and I have a PhD in Mechatronics. During my 20+ years of experience, I’ve worked both as an employee and as a consultant on many different projects. My activities involved, among others, the development of low-level drivers for custom-built computers (aerospace: Mercury Systems), the code development for embedded systems (medical devices: Dentsply, Novartis, Resista; probing heads, Tesa Technologies; renewable energies: GeoEnergia), the code development for PC based systems (flight simulators: Agusta Westland), the CAD development and FEM analysis (CNH, Gambro Dasco, Resista, Girard-Perregaux, Novartis). In the recent past, I also worked on the development and debugging of microcontroller-based electronic boards (Dentsply, Tesa Technologies, Geo Energia, Resista). Furthermore, just to demonstrate my ability to work independently and to manage myself and small teams, from the beginning of 2010 to the beginning of 2011 I promoted, followed, and coordinated the construction of a 200kw photo-voltaic plant, a 1.1M Euro project. I'd like to find a dynamic job involving challenging activities allowing me to use my various skills and further improve my professional profile. My work history shows my flexibility, fast learning pace, and ability to integrate proficiently into a new position in a short time. Your organization could benefit from my extended experience in embedded coding, the ability I acquired in finding and fixing software/hardware integration-related problems, my knowledge of highly regulated domains (aerospace, medical devices) with their regulations and working procedures, and, finally, the fact that I am used to compiling clear and exhaustive technical documentation. My language skills (Italian, mother tongue + French, fluent + English, fluent + Russian, basic) make me a perfect choice for international/multicultural projects.
