• Handling projects for EPC of packaged units like analyzer shelters , sampling systems, metering and chemical Injection skids. • Design experience in sample conditioning systems for process analyzers, Steam Water Analysis System (SWAS) and Continuous Emission Monitoring System. • Sound Knowledge on various on Online Analysers and Gas chromatographs.. • Sound knowledge on Process control Instruments, Flow measuring instruments, Transmitters Metering Pumps and Flow Computers. • Sound knowledge on terminal automation system (TAS), Tank Farm Management System(TMS), Load Rack computers (LRC) and batch/Preset controllers • Hands on experience in PLC panel design and power distribution panels. • Sound Knowledge on Analyser shelter, HVAC, Fire Detectors and Gas Detectors, fast loop systems and sample transpiration. • Sound Knowledge on International Instrumentation Construction Standards, Specifications & Quality Procedures. • Well aware of Safe Work Permit Systems, Hazardous Area Classifications, Ingress Protection, Temperature Class. • Knowledge on SIL standards and ESD systems. • Well familiar with engineering drawings such as P&ID, Loop Schematics , wiring diagrams, cable routing layout drawings, instrument Hook-Up diagram, cable schedule, instruments data sheets, single line diagrams etc. • Management and execution of Execution of project within cost and time constrained environments.
Liaise with the engineering, buyer, inspection, expediting team and other project stakeholders. Act as the primary focal point for the Vendor on all matters related to the Package; Liaise with the Group Strategic Sourcing in regards to the Bidder list, benchmarking and problems faced with Vendors. Approving the Package Bidder list, Commercial Bid Evaluation, Recommendation to Purchase and Purchase Requisition; Participate in the RFQ preparation, bid- and vendor qualification; Define the negotiation strategy with the Buyer, Project Manager and Supply Chain Department Manager; Manage the execution of the PO technically and commercially and make sure the PO execution is in line with the project schedule; Ensure the Vendor Documents are received , reviewed and approved on time in the Vendor Documentation Management tool; Receive, control and close the TQs, NCRs, SVRs in liaison with Engineering and delivery manager; Manage the inspection, the delivery and receipt of the package at site with the help of the Inspection, Expediting and Logistic teams & Site Material Controller.
• Managing the overall project direction for the design, integration and installation of process analyzers and their support systems • Schedule inter-departmental KOM to reviewing specification and requirements. • Schedule Kick-off meeting with client to discuss the areas of concern, project execution cycle schedule and documentation requirements. • Project Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project. • Provide technical direction for preparing detailed engineering document s like GA, P&ID, BOM. • Review the design to deliver the analyzer and instrumentation systems in compliance with the required performance and ensuring minimal cost and simplification. • Preparation of specification sheet and evaluation of vendor technical quote and coordinating with procurement department. • Coordination of the implementation of a project, ensuring it is correctness shop execution activities. • Liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors. • Project management within cost and time constrained environments • Direct critical activities requiring knowledge and expertise concerning analyzers. • Develop and execute factory acceptance test procedures for new analyzer systems. • Provide commissioning and start up assistance of supplied system.
• Study and understand the technical & functional specifications from client document. • Checking of Detailed Engineering and documents from vendor. • Ensure the selected instrument and Panels/Enclosure meeting project requirement and ARAMCO Standards. • Review of Instrument mounting and hook-up drawing. • Review of Material Take-off list (MTO). • Performs inter-discipline coordination related to assigned area of responsibility. • Preparation of ITP and Inspection assignment package. • Attending Pre-Inspection Meeting explain the process based on the design specification and coordinating with vendor. • Performs vendor squad checking activities and ensures that markups or changes are correctly reflected on the document. • Review of Test Certificate and area classification certificate of instruments. • Identifies documents lessons learned that will be encountered during the project duration. • Witnessing for the testing of control panel and Instruments. • Preparation of the test report and punch list from the test conducted. • Ensure that all instrument and electrical equipment are in good condition and calibration is valid. • Perform the in-process and Integrated FAT with customer. • Release of Package on satisfactory performance and compliance to all punch points.
• Conducting site survey for assessing site condition. • Reviewing of all documents related to projects. • Design of PLC Systems, Fire & Gas Control Systems, ESD Systems. • Preparation of various engineering documents like Electrical Wiring schemes, IO Listing, Cause and effect, Cable Schedule, JB Schedule, SLD, P&ID etc. • Execution of customized analytical and terminal automation projects in various refineries and petrochemicals. • Selection of products suitable for hazardous area and certification from statutory agencies. • Procurement assistant activities such as preparation of Specifications, BOM, vendor offer evaluation & approval of vendor documents of various materials. • Co-ordination with other departments for various deliverables like vendors, marketing, purchase, production, stores, execution & other engineering departments • Co-ordination with the vendor and clients for clarifying various issues. • Regular and weekly progress meeting with superiors and clients. • Planning of Instrumentation work as per scope of work • Preparation of ITP, FAT procedure etc. • Assisting for Factory Acceptance Test. • Preparation of As Built Drawings and Documentation. • Assisting for Commissioning and conducting Site Acceptance Test.
