Experience

  • Executive Associate at EDF

Member of Marc Benayoun’s staff, Group Senior Executive Vice-President, Customers & Energy Services

  • R&D Generation & Data Lead at EDF in the UK

EDF R&D UK Centre Leading the Digital Innovation R&D team projects supporting Power Generation : data analytics and AI, augmented and mixed reality. Managing a team of 4 Data Scientists.

  • Member of Projet Y at EDF

Projet Y was initiated by Jean-Bernard Levy, CEO of EDF, and gave the opportunity to 30 employees of the generation Y (25-35) to work with the Executive Board at the digital transformation of EDF.

  • Industrial PhD Engineer at EDF

Registration of 3D laser scans: a probabilistic primitive-based approach.

  • Head of Data, Analytics and Reporting at EDF

EDF DOAAT - SoDATA Managing a team of 15 Data Analysts, focused on EDF's activities. The team is in charge of delivering a large variety of reports and analytics of EDF's activity, from production to retail, and to develop and operate the OpenData platform of EDF Group.

  • Research Engineer at EDF

EDF R&D - SINETICS Department • Led the design, experiment and transfer of advanced tools and methods for the production of very large virtual replicas (reactor buildings) using laser scanning, panoramic imagery and as-built CAD modelling tools (Numerius). From maintenance to decommissioning, most engineering departments of EDF France are now using this standard method. • Contributed to the development of a virtual visit application used for maintenance of nuclear reactors (VVProPrépa). The application is currently being deployed on all French Nuclear power plants. • Designed a remote (web) and local 3D visualisation software of large PDMS (Plant Design Management System) models of thermal power plant and managed the development by VirtuelCity. This app (Puma3D) is used in two gas-fired power stations: Bouchain and Blenod. • Proved through reproducible experiments the relevance of groundbreaking technologies: - graph spectral analysis to improve productivity and quality of kilo-stations network registration of laser scans, - topological model of a complex building to allow spatial request and navigation simulations, - Albert: a deep learning algorithm for automatic equipment tag detection.
