I have been working in the field of immunology for almost 30 years including 18 years for pharmaceutical companies with increasing R&D responsibilities. Over this time, I developed a particular interest and expertise in the development of drugs (biologics and small molecules) to serve autoimmune, neurodegenerative, metabolic, and chronic inflammatory diseases, including mode of action and mechanisms of disease studies. I am a solution-focused geek scientist with extensive experience planning, conducting, managing, and documenting NBE & NCE preclinical programs for First-in-Man readiness including selection of Proof-of-Concept studies. I have strong team building and leadership skills (Project and Group Leader experience) with daily client interfacing and cross-functional multi-cultural team management.
