Lead the transformation of the TCR functions into ONE highly engage global team, with teams in China, Japan, Mexico, Europe and USA. Objectives : - Co-lead with the R&D Category lead and marketing the development of a strong global (long term) and regional (short term) consumer centric innovation pipeline. - Support the Research to Experimentation research platform (Ingredients, technologies, packaging, equipment) to ensure the development of consumer centric solutions. Facilitate the transition of the new solutions from research to development and innovation. - Develop the capabilities of the future - Digital transformation : Co-lead globally a multi-year project to digitalize R&D globally.
Managing the following functions for EMEA : - The EMEA Technical Consumer Research team. Work closely with the R&D Category lead, the marketing team and the Human insight team to develop a short term and long term pipeline of innovation. Support the development of consumer centric innovation (product, package and equipment) by proving actionable sensory and consumer insight - The stability and lab operation team : Provide a risk assessment and guidance on shelf life assessment. Develop a new team to support the R&D labs operation, and health & safety. Lead a global project to digitalize our stability assessment with the objective to reduce by 80% the lab test. - The microbiology team. Reset the microbiology team, with a focus on microbiology test and food safety assessment to support the EMEA innovation portfolio. - Capabilities - Manage the transformation of the R&D facility in Brussels. Manage the CAPEX. - Budget. Manage the EMEA R&D budget, allocate ressources base on R&D priorities and ensure budget is timely used. - Information management. Set up a new function to support the EMEA R&D team. Provide leadership in information management system to support day to day operation. Develop application to manage the R&D innovation project in connection with the Entreprise database. - Co- lead a global project to digitalize R&D &nd technical functions. Defined the vision for the futur, current needs accros team, taking account the integration within the entreprise. (April 2023)
