Managing the bigger brownfield project, AB OBS & PWM Project, in Al Shaheen field history consisting in adding two water treatment modules (including one jacket supported) and a new wells hang-off module on 2 different platform complexes (Alpha & Bravo). Additional in-platforms huge modifications (control room, SCADA, equipment, piping, etc.). Integration works done both in SD and SIMOPS conditions. Both greenfield and brownfield scope done using a EPCIC contract type.
Responsible for projects linked to chemical production units improvement & revamping: - Definition of the detailed scope for dismantling and then replacement of a nitrous gas production unit during a turnaround, - Management of schedule, costs, progress & reporting (internal & to client), follow-up of equipment procurement process (directly with OEM, management of a on-site quality supervisor, preparation of equipment delivery on site, etc.), - Interfaces coordination with the involved different disciplines leaders (Production, Equipment, Civil, Piping, E&I, lifting, etc.), - Follow-up of the corresponding engineering studies in direct links with the disciplines leaders, - Management and follow-up of the contracts' bids process: issuance of technical requisition, structural steel, geotechnics, piping, mechanical, etc., - Planification and organization of the site works to be managed, - Preparation of the Pre-commissioning and the Commissioning activities.
Management of about 40 EPCI type projects (piping, production facilities/equipment, steel constructions, integrity & revamping works, etc.) in TEPNG offshore different fields for a total value of $20M/year. Scope of works includes: Methods, engineering studies, tendering processes, procurement process, prefabrication works, logistics, offshore site installation works, project's documentations, contract follow-up. - Projects' type: Flare tip change by dedicated Europe imported helicopter, full production pipe metallurgy change, like-for-like replacement, Shut-down management (single and multi-fields, partial and/or full-field), refurbishment of a CALM buoy, FSO hull repair, structural modification, equipment installation, etc., - Assistance to GM, instruction and guidance to Heads of and coordination of each offshore field activities by leading a team of 7 engineers & 20 superintendents, supervisors and technicians, and interfacing with others ECP entities. - Management of "Work Orders", complex operational interfaces & associated contracts dependant on requirements of entities acting as clients: Production, Drilling / Completion, HSE, Logistics, Maintenance, etc., - HR: Assistance in department manpower planning, development, recruitment or evolution and appraisal of personnel. - Contract: Definition and defense of the contractual strategy (CFT, award, waiver, etc.) as member of entity contract board, and management & negotiations with contractors to solve claims ($6M saving in clean-up of past existing backlog), - In charge of redaction of frame contracts to save money, simplify and speed-up the tendering process of dept. - Project Control: Cost estimating, scheduling, technical feasibility dossier issuance and reporting, - Budget: Definition & follow-up the detailed budget of Offshore Construction and liaison with NAPIMS partner to ensure funding, - HSE: Ensuring that contractors comply at all times with safety rules, taking actions to stop works if unsafe.
Acting as deputy to the Project Manager for the onshore prefabrication, QA/QC, HSE, HR, logistics, procurement and contracts on a $460M, 3.5M manhours, 3 years duration project for onshore & offshore campaigns. Responsible for onshore prefabrication of Structures & Piping items and equipment to be sent at offshore sites: - Supervision the preparation team in charge of shop drawings, cutting sheets, welding register…, - Definition & follow-up the minimum stock of material and consumable, - Ensuring the integration of subcontractors contracts: E&I (SNEF), NDT (SGS), Painting (PREZIOSO), ISN…, - Coordination of the preparatory activities needed for offshore erection of shop-prefabricated items, - HR: Managing the most efficient use of human resources in order to meet or improve project's objectives, by recruiting the personnel to cope with both onshore and offshore mobilization plan need, - Ensuring a continuous link between local affiliate, corporate HQ, onshore & offshore team, - Acting as direct point-of-contact for Client Site Representative on yard and during contractual daily/weekly meetings, - HSE: Ensuring that company & client safety requirements are fulfilled and applied on Site, - Project Control: Definition and follow‐up schedule in liaise with offshore site. Setting‐up, monitoring and control of the means to check the progress and reporting it internally and to client, - Contract: Selection of subcontractors linked to project scope of work, - Procurement: Supervision of PO follow‐up, Checking of material/Equipment certificates, Stock follow-up... - QA/QC: Participation to the welding process & welders' qualification (WPS, PQR, WPQT), issuance of TQ related to onshore activities and solving of non conformity occurring during works with the worksite Quality Manager & Yard Management.
