I was responsible for managing and ensuring compliance across operational core functions, including Group technical management, process safety management, quality, and regulatory management. Moreover, I diligently oversee three dedicated streams of "Leadership & Culture", "Knowledge Management" and "Business Excellence" to leverage existing rules and fundamentals consolidated by new ones aimed to achieve overall operational excellence. • Partnered with the Group HSSE Function and eventually took over the role in addition to GOE functions since July 2020. 150 Pax team. • Expanded the remit of the department beyond EPCI activities only, over the product full life cycle, breaking silos, and ensuring continuous improvement. • Unified various group initiatives under a unique "Target Excellence" stated ambition program launched in March 2019. • Strategized plans to prevent losses from process safety, regulatory, and quality incidents. • Recognised for identifying cost efficiency improvement.
I defined the corporate/business strategy for the group and affiliates to set business direction. It's worth mentioning that I conducted macro-economic & geopolitics analysis, marketing intelligence, strategic planning & performance measurement, as well as corporate development including M&A, strategic alliances and joint ventures management through a 6 pax team. • Developed a robust long-term corporate strategy to strengthen SBM competitive edge, while expanding new areas for growth approved by the Management Board and endorsed by the Supervisory Board. • Executed a strategic and performance monitoring cycle annual strategy seminar to gather key stakeholders and set/revisit the assumptions for the 3-years plan. • Monitored delivery through monthly operating reviews to ensure a smooth and systematic roll-out of the strategy.
