Passionate about technology and culture, my past 30 years in Marketing were a fantastic opportunity to experience new dynamics in our world. Engaged in fast moving semiconductor industry, and recently in the electric vehicle sector, I have acquired strong skills in detecting and anticipating future market potentials, and building a vision on a global scale. Working closely with key leading players in all parts of the world, I have learned to read the subtle differences between cultures and build adapted strategic marketing path to reach a leader position in those countries. Innovation, differentiation, anticipation have been my key driving forces, nurtured by the international teams I led. Thinking out of the box to reinvent our future, reading the small signals in fast moving and complex environments, are the pillars of my actions, with the purpose of making our world better, more efficient and more harmonious. Art (including martial ones, which I discovered in Japan) is also an important aspect of my life. I enjoy creating art movements via Budo, photography, video, music, poetry. I have recently held several exhibitions in France of aerial pictures of salt fields, turning photographs into abstract art.
In our newly created center in Toulouse, my mission is to help customers leveraging ST leadership in the high power semiconductor domain. By using state-of-the-art ST technologies in wide band gap materials, we can reach new levels of performances in industrial and avionic applications such as - Fast charging stations for Electric Vehicles, - Renewable energies and storage, - Electrified planes, - Efficient motors for Industry 4.0
IES Synergy is a major international player in the creation and manufacture of battery charging solutions for all new generations of electric vehicles. Responsible for Marketing activities, my mission was to develop our presence in each region of the world, by engaging adapted product strategies and road-maps. Interacting with key car makers, charging station integrators or operators throughout the world, I defined and developed together with R&D teams the fast chargers of tomorrow. Key achievements: • Created a new, detailed and comprehensive understanding of fast charging station market • Redefined IES value proposition, strategic positioning and products roadmap • Lobbied the government to increase fast charging stations subsidies in France • Designed the future fast charging station range, awarded by the French government
Responsible for developing power, analog and sensor products presence in the automotive, aeropace and defense markets in Europe, driving key development programs across Product Divisions, Regional Organizations and leading customers. Key achievements: • Engaged a new plan to double the revenues in 5 years, with full support of Top Management • Gained a key project at Continental on the most strategic power transistor technology • Co-evaluated with Renault-Nissan Alliance Strategic Committee the crucial choice on SiC/GaN technology for electric vehicle, adopted today by the industry
Responsible for Analog, Power and MEMS Products, defining key strategic directions with Product Divisions and Regional Sales organizations and developing close partnership with leading customers and distributors in the region. Key achievements: • Tripled the market share in Japan in 4 years (200 M$) • Doubled the business with Samsung Mobile & Samsung Display in 2 years (200 M$) • Managed and developed a team of 40 Japanese & Korean Engineers
Responsible for Application Specific Discretes (inlcuding Protection Diodes, Power Rectifiers and Thyristors) and Integrated Passive and Active Devices. Key achievements: • Reached number 1 market position on the 4 product families in the Division (600 M$) • Created and rolled out a new “Marketing & Differentiation” workshop, deployed across ST • Brought more than 100 new product ideas to the innovation committee (70% being approved and launched) • Managed and developed a team of 45 Engineers
Responsible for market development and customer support for electric motors and alternators. Key achievements: • Implemented a global technical and commercial customer support in the region • Set-up the new commercial branch office in Abu Dhabi, EAU • Developed a new commercial offer tool improving business efficiency, later deployed at all international branches
