I have joined the Oil and Gas sector in 2002 as project engineer for Stolt Offshore (Acergy, Subsea 7) working in large deep water SURF West African projects. In 2005, I have moved to the Norwegian offices. I spent these 7 years involved in transverse activities, managing and driving the various packages from A to Z, supervising engineering, design and installation, fabrication, asset integration, procurement and offshore operations. Looking for new challenges, with the desire to explore new horizons, I have moved in November 2008 for SBM Offshore, Offshore Contracting department, as Installation Project Manager. I started with CALM buoy, saturation diving and offshore construction. Projects were dynamics and I had to adapt quickly to any kind of situation, to develop my entrepreneurship to find the right solutions for the benefit of my Company. Focused on people, meeting Customer requirements, and taking the leadership on the projects, I moved to more complex projects, installation and EPCI projects. Following 6 years of project management, I have started a role as OC Operations Manager in December 2015, managing the SBM vessels and its team. This position was new in the Company to streamline the operations. I have always pushed myself and my team to look beyond the day to day management, to think on how to create value and to explore new business opportunities. Working in a changing environment, I constantly re-assess the vessel charters with the JV partners, broaden the vision for Offshore contracting and look at the long term strategy for our vessels. As part of my current activity, I am involved in sales where I leverage installation within SBM Group. Being involved in the offshore industry for 16years now, I believe in the human collaboration, everyone has the capacity to contribute to a success and it remains essential to always give a sense to what we do.
In charge of BA for installation product line
Manage operations for offshore contracting activities. Manage Operations Managers, Technical manager, buyers, personnel coordinators, superintendents, offshore team as well as contractor pool.
Manage projects and contracts for internal and external clients. Execute projects involving activities from engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistic, sub-contracting up to operations and offshore phase.
Execute SURF projects in North Sea (involving rigid and flexible pipelines, and subsea structures). This mainly involves activities such as design and engineering, coordinate procurement, fabrication follow-up, prepare mobilization and execute offshore operations onboard construction vessels.
