In my role, I provide contract management across the region by setting up and maintaining clear processes and controls. This includes supporting the delivery of road and streetlight maintenance and renewal programmes, reviewing supplier claims, assessing suppliers’ quality systems and assurance records, and liaising with our stakeholders.
I was part of the Road Corridor Delivery Team which maintained and renewed carriageways, storm water drainage and footpaths of Auckland Central. This involved planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of maintenance and renewals, reviewing and approving monthly claims and ensuring expenditure was in line with budget provisions, managing allocated budgets and undertaking forecasting and accruals management.
Argenta is a contract manufacturer of animal health pharmaceutical products, from pre-clinical development through to commercial product manufacturing. I performed procurement activities including reviewing quotes, negotiating with suppliers and reviewing suppliers, and managed the supply of chemicals and consumables for the QC laboratory. As a result of my diligence and attention to detail, no testing was delayed due to a shortage of chemicals or consumables. I provided needs assessment, requirements, flowcharts for management process and training to the analyst, resulting in a smooth transition to the new system, and streamlined waste management processes by mapping the process to identify issues and opportunities. .
EMINEO is an engineering project management firm specifically focused on the development of bioethanol, sugar and cogeneration plants. I was part of team providing engineering and project management support for the equipment of a sugar factory in Cameroon and bioethanol plant in Sierra Leone. I coordinated technical activities for the installation and commissioning of new equipment, produced project status reports, and analysed and recommended action plans. I also prepared tender documents, data packs and technical manuals and reviewed bids. By using my problem-solving skills and growth mindset, I was able to adapt to a new industry and deliver great value for money equipment along with a smooth installation commissioning.
Thales is a multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems. It provides various services to the aerospace, defence, transportation and security sectors. I was recruited to perform the functional verifications of ATR, Chinook, A109 and Sukhoi flight display software. This included writing test plan and test cases to validate functional requirements, scripting and executing robustness, non-regression, performance and user acceptance testing, and coordinating both the Validation and Software teams (10 staff members) to solve identified errors. I used my analytical skills to design comprehensive testing to validate highly critical software. My solid interpersonal skills helped to coordinate efficiently the validation and software teams.
Altran is a global leader in innovation, high-tech engineering consulting and IT solutions provider within the aviation and aerospace industries. My main role with Altran involved validating electronic flight control system packages and plane applications (A320, A330, A340, A380) as well as designing a feasibility study for a multi-program research flight simulator (A320, A330, A340, A380, A350, A30X).
