I’m a results driven telecom professional with over 30 years experience in the industry. As a well-rounded individual I started my career as a cable installer and key system installer in the analog to digital migration era. Working with key manufacturers like AT&T/Lucent & Nortel (Now Avaya), Comdial and Vodavi (now Vertical) and InterTel/Mitel, I learned the basic operations of the telecom industry and public telephone switching. As my career progressed I moved from operations roles to account management roles with some of the largest interconnects in the nation. The mentorship of these consummate leaders in these organizations motivated me and educated me to find success at every level, from key system sales with SMB prospects to PBX Strategic account management overseeing 10,000’s line systems for companies like healthcare system operators and utility providers. With experience in all aspects of communications, I found my passion and reward as a Sales Engineer/ Solutions Architect. Using technology to create solutions that bridge a gap in prospects communication strategies is challenging. But this challenge is what motivates me, the reward is when the prospect achieves their goals and knowing that a solution we created helped them achieve them. I measure success not by what I accomplish, but what the team I am apart of accomplishes. I believe that knowledge needs to be shared and discussion is key foundation to learning. By sharing what we learn, we enable those around us to be more successful. I truly enjoy the ability to share what I learn through formal education, as well as through self-study and other methods of learning.
