Hello! My name is Jose Gonzalez-Herrera. The devotion I have for my involvements showcases my passion for helping others, which I believe can be done by being myself and investing myself in environments which are conducive to just that. As a high school student, I co-founded a community service club, was involved in ASB and sports, and practiced holistic styles of living. I have a deep love for others, and that extended towards my university experience. Within my time at my university, I have involved myself in spaces with other LGBTQ+ identifying students, a fraternity that prides itself on promoting healthy masculinity and going against the stereotype, student government, and the department at UCSB dedicated to supporting and centering survivors of sexual violence/sexual harassment.
