American University's Annual Sovereign Wealth Fund Conference brings together expert academics and high-profile decision makers to explore and discuss trends in sovereign wealth fund landscape. In my capacity as conference coordinator I worked alongside the organizer and conference advisor to ensure a smooth rollout of marketing and logistical communications for the event, as well as in-person operations for the event itself.
During my internship with NY-04, I undertook a diverse range of responsibilities that provided me with valuable insights into governmental operations and legislative processes. I supported front office operations, answering phones, directing calls, and addressing constituent inquiries effectively. Additionally, I had the remarkable opportunity to contribute to speeches and external communications for the Congressman, ensuring clarity and alignment with his messaging. Aside from supporting daily office functions, I also conducted thorough open-source research on policy and legislation, contributing to informed decision-making. I also had the privilege of conducting tours of the Capitol complex, offering insights to constituents and VIP guests alike. Through these experiences, I gained firsthand exposure to government administration and the inner workings of key congressional committees such as the House Committee on Homeland Security, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and the House Committee on House Administration, further enhancing my understanding of legislative processes and policy development.
