Our approach is to facilitate systems-based improvement initiatives that are inclusive of all stakeholders to address interrelated economic, health, education, and cultural factors that shape the quality of life for individuals and families. Engagement of patients and families in the co-design and co-production of health and healthcare is a priority. We recognize the importance of addressing social determinants of health and their link to the efficacy and safety of health care.
Identification of individual, team, task, technical, and organizational factors in human performance in safety-critical work domains. Emphasis is on understanding and supporting cognition, expertise, and skilled performance. Projects in critical care, air traffic control systems, border security, and military settings among others.
