With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, I am currently the Chief Development Officer at Nesma Renewable Energy, a leading company in Saudi Arabia that develops, builds, and operates solar and wind projects. In this role, I oversee the origination, development, and execution of renewable energy projects, as well as the technical and commercial advisory services for our clients and partners. I have a strong background in project development, engineering, business administration, and management. I hold an MBA from the University of Limerick and a postgraduate degree from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. I also have multiple certifications in negotiating, alternative energy, and sustainable energy. I am passionate about advancing the transition to a low-carbon economy and contributing to the sustainable development of the region. I have successfully managed and advised on several large-scale renewable energy projects, such as the Dumat Al Jandal 400MW wind farm and the South Jeddah 300MW solar PV project, where I serve as a technical committee member. I have also led the business development and project management across various renewable gas, wind, and solar projects. I have excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.
