Hi there, and thanks for visiting my profile! I’m a higher education professional, educator, and doctoral student passionate about student success, equity, and belonging. With over a decade of experience in academic advising, career readiness, and culturally responsive teaching, I’ve had the privilege of supporting diverse student populations through strategic leadership, inclusive programming, and data-informed innovation. Currently, I’m pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership, Equity, and Inquiry at Illinois State University, where my research explores the sense of belonging among queer students at Catholic institutions. I’m especially interested in how gender, sexuality, race, and religion intersect to shape student experiences, and how institutions can better support marginalized voices through inclusive curriculum, pedagogy, and policy. I'm looking to transition into academia full-time, where I can blend teaching, research, and service to contribute to student development and institutional transformation. I’m always open to connecting and collaborating, whether it’s on research, writing, or initiatives that move the needle on equity and access in higher ed.
