I have deep knowledge of what it takes to change minds and develop great organisational culture, having worked marketing, communications, client relationship management, business development and change management. It's all connected by human psychology and understanding what makes people tick. I don’t classify myself as anything other than a problem solver. I love great ideas from clever people who think of stuff that makes the world a better place; these people blow my mind. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and I am the ultimate amplifier; if I love something and see the potential, I’ll shout it from the rooftops in all the right places with the right messaging. If I could describe myself in one word it would be BRAVE. I’ll talk to anyone, try most things, walk into a room full of strangers and make friends, and do what needs to be done to drive necessary change. I’ve worked for big business, federal and state government, family-owned concerns, owned my own business, consulted for others and grown a myriad of ideas into cool offerings. I’ve won awards for my work, and I’m not done yet. I am intensely passionate about gender equity, women’s rights, ageism, health and eradicating the stigma around mental health. My primary role: to increase revenue through business development and training initiatives grounded in improved client relationships. Through a robust change management strategy I introduced an outcome focussed client relationship development program and worked closely with Leadership and Management teams to develop client service best practice. Client relationship master coach to Partners, Directors and Senior Managers to improve their BD skills and work on strategic bids.
Responsible for strategy development and campaign development, I worked with business owners and marketing managers/directors to scope brand strategy, business development strategy and campaign initiatives.
As digital was fast becoming king my primary focus was to increase the use of post within the Corporate & Government Sector. Identifying a gap in the market for direct mail, my team and I developed a creative campaign and change management strategy to influence the market resulting in a 10% increase on the bottom line.
