I support the Fundraising Events Manager in developing strategies that align with our team's goals and the overarching mission of the Wikimedia Foundation. My primary job duties include coordinating the hiring process of all graduate teaching and research assistants, conducting formatting checks for Ph.D. dissertations, coordinating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, providing travel support for the Dean, faculty, staff, students and researching various strategic communications strategies.
My primary responsibilities included providing administrative support for the Office of Donor Relations, coding and correspondence for gift club members, coordination of pledge reminder mailings, concierge service to donors utilizing the donor dashboard system, processing event registration payments for Jefferson Club events, reconciliation of monthly budget reports and assisting donors with other queries as needed.
My primary responsibilities included providing clerical and office management support for the Columbia College Alumni Relations staff, alumni board of directors and alumni volunteers. I was responsible for tracking event attendance for nationwide events, booking travel arrangements for alumni board members and tracking departmental budget expenditures.
As a member of the Development, Alumni Relations and Public Relations team, I was responsible for processing all gifts sent to the college by alumni, friends and businesses. I also maintained database accuracy for over 80,000 constituents by updating addresses, contact information and documenting biographical data. I was also responsible for mailing donor recognition letters and tracking giving society memberships.
My duties included preparing marketing information for potential vendors for multiple festivals, assisting in programming community recreation events (including, but not limited to Bike, Walk and Wheel week, preschool activities and Earth Day) and the installation of a new walking program targeting families with young children.
