Job Profile as, DESIGN/QUALITY ENGINEER: • Accountable for meeting Production and Project deadlines. Plan, Organise and direct the operations in the factory as per QMS way of working. Daily morning round meetings. • Handling various types of instruments like Vernier caliper, Micro meter, Digital Profile Projector, Height Gauge, Angle protractor, Surface Roughness Tester etc. • Communicate engineering and manufacturing specifications to supplier technical teams. • Aide manufacturing in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials following a defined new product development process. • Regular Vendor visits to monitor their performance, improve them on quality and productivity. • Documents preparation for any New Product Development like Process control plan, Process Flow Chart, Operational Control plan, Gauges and Instruments list for particular product. • Communication with Top management about Gauges and Instruments required. • Well versed with ISO 9001-2008 and AS 9100C procedures and documentation. Participated in Internal Quality Audits of different departments. • Maintaining data related to CAPA in the form of root cause analysis. • Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues. • Perform capability studies (Cp / CPk) as per customer requirements and while product being newly developed. • Maintaining data related to rework/rejection in terms of PPM.
