I recently began my internship at Montefiore, where I am shadowing two general surgeons both in the operating room and during patient care. This experience is providing me with valuable hands-on exposure, the opportunity to learn directly from experienced surgeons, and meaningful clinical shadowing hours.
I have started working at CVS pharmacy as a pharmacy technician.
This internship with Dr. Iyad Kejo, Dr. Aditya Hublikar, and Dr. Cyril Abraham at Montefiore Medical Center on the Einstein campus was guided by the doctors doing their rounds every morning discussing what was going on with the current patients, assessing the problem that the patient was having and then finally deciding what to do with them going forward with medication, procedures, or outpatient care.
