Teaching Assistant for CS273B : Deep Learning for Genomics and Biomedicine. Involves conducting recitation sections, grading assignments and projects and holding office hours.
I worked on enhancing images and removing artifacts from flash images. This was accomplished using image gradients. Later during the course of the internship, I was working on recognizing product codes using their descriptions. This work involved analyzing a large dataset of product descriptions. Along with this, I was also working on the problem of quantifying the quality of an image using different metrics.
