My internship experience at Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) provided me a first-hand understanding of corporate life within the aerospace industry and further enhanced my teamwork and communication skills. I gained experience in aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes, enhancing my technical proficiency and deepening my understanding of the daily operations carried out in this industry. Furthermore, this internship also allowed me to be proficient with industry based software like SAP. Besides the technical aspects, my internship experience also improved my problem-solving and analytical skills as I tackled complex engineering challenges, diagnosing issues, and developing effective solutions. Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams improved my communication and teamwork abilities while adapting to a fast-paced environment fostered resilience and adaptability. Additionally, I enhanced my time management and organizational skills, balancing multiple tasks and maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines. I am very keen to showcase my knowledge and skills to others when I eventually pursue a career in the aviation industry in the future.
