During planning and implementation phases: * Support the venue technology planning for your specific venue for Test Events and the European Games * Liaise with other functions to ensure their requirements for your venue are understood and accommodated within the constraints of the project * Work with venue management and technology providers to develop a detailed plan for delivery and operation of the venue * Work with the VTM to prioritize work, develop and maintain an overall program of works for the assigned venue * Initiate and track corrective action for any slippage or change in scope of venue implementation and project plans * Identify areas of risk and develop contingency delivery plans at your assigned venue * Assist the VTM in the production of venue specific equipment layout drawings and detailed space design for critical Technology and client spaces For test and operational phases: * Ensure the technology systems are deployed and tested to meet requirements * Deputize for the VTM as the senior point of contact within the venue for escalation and resolution of technology related issues in close cooperation with the venue management team, Technology providers, Technology Operation Centre and other venue stakeholders * Deputize for the VTM in leading the in venue technology team, delivering team briefings and reporting as required * Plan Logistics, equipment delivery and asset management
Identify logistics areas for process improvement and cost savings to ensure expectations are met. Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes. Responsible for maintaining, tracking and analyzing all inbound shipments, including working with carriers and the 3PL provider. Responsible for preparing statistical data for contract negotiations and participating in negotiations. Responsible for logistics budget center; maintaining cost analysis reports. Lead the analysis and provide statistical information on the tracking of product shipments, returns, and inventory. Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of all traffic. Coordinating Inbound / outbound traffic; ocean, sea, air and domestic. Maximizing the cost effectiveness of this function. Providing reports to management; inventory, distribution, freight Shipping responsibilities via the different subsidiaries. Other special projects as assigned.
