Javid is a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a Masters of Business Administration and is a Chartered Engineer with over 34 years experience in a variety of industries especially in, retail development and delivery electricity, HV transmission, telecommunications, broadcasting and civil engineering. Javid, as the Programme Delivery Director for the Qiddiya programme under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, is tasked with overseeing the project's successful delivery, which aims to establish itself as the benchmark for entertainment in the Kingdom. A multi-billion dollar budget, Javid's primary objective is to provide comprehensive program and project management support, including the coordination of resources, systems, tools, policies, and processes. In his role as the Delivery Partner, Javid is providing all necessary services to ensure Qiddiya meets its project requirements in terms of programme, quality, and costs.
The Qiddiya project is one of the tourism mega-projects to be established in Saudi Arabia under the Saudi Vision 2030. Mace is supporting Qiddiya Investment Company as their Delivery Partner.
Javid is responsible for growing and developing a high-performing team that leverages Mace’s global capabilities, innovation and best practice to deliver tangible results and performance improvement to the whole spectrum of utilities and energy clients. In particular, developing the UK energy and utilities business, supporting both project and programme management opportunities and wider delivery partner roles with major organisations. He’ll also be leading on expanding into new sectors for Mace, namely solar, wind, tidal and other low carbon sources of energy.
