Jasper is currently a Senior Legal Counsel with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA), and a Masters in Law (LL.M.) graduate from Nottingham Law School. He is also a Law and Political Sciences graduate from Singapore Management University. He has a keen interest in Construction Law, Construction Projects Management, Energy and Natural Resources, Regulatory Affairs, International Politics and History in general. He is a highly driven and motivated individual and his greatest strength is hard work. He likes to interact with people on a more emotional level so that he is better able to understand the people he is interacting with and the connection is made on a deeper level. He is also willing to put in the required hours and beyond as long as he can contribute meaningfully to his profession. He strongly believes in continually upgrading himself and actively seeks opportunities for the same. He is motivated by a sense of responsibility towards the society he is living in. As part of a privileged group of people who benefited from legal training, it is his belief that he has the responsibility and duty to contribute in serving the community. He volunteers his time at various legal clinics, writes about legal issues from time to time, and mentors juniors in his profession.
