Lead Celestica Switch Platform (upto112G SERDES based) product requirement and concept definition Build the eco-system partners relationship and driven technologies roadmap to enable the solution based on cutting-edge technology (800G, fly-over-cable, CPO, OSFP-XD, etc) Follow the design team from concept to mass production. Communicate with design and manufacture team to resolve key technical related issues to meet product high quality and manufacturability.
Business - Lead the core design team to provide RFP (Request for proposal), RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) for Celestica key customer on the communication product related. - Manage the whole team to provide a total solution for tire one customer with JDM (Join design manufacturer) business. - Lead the team to support Celestica communication white-box product definition. - Review and monitor the programs with high design quality, within budget and on-time delivery. - Coordinate with internal platform and external platform to make all the projects running smoothly. Team Management (up to 45 people, including EE / FPGA / project manager and Power team) - Lead and develop the team in both business and technical aspects. - Keep tracking the resource utilization to make sure the utilization is reasonable. - Dynamic adjust and allocate resource between the sub-team as necessary - Identify resource gap and make the hire plan proposal as necessary. - Build and maintain high team morale - Build the knowledge share mechanism and standard design as necessary enhance the design quality. - Helps team member to identify the individual development path and provide the related opportunities for them to learn and grow. Process - Identify the design process gap and lead the team to get a solution. - Enhance the white-box product related process and identify any gray area to solve it. - Monitor all the design team and make sure all team follow the right process and working style. - Hold the process training as necessary to make sure all the account design team follow the design process as necessary.
