Responsibilities: 1) To ensure service to clients of Holiday Tours is adhering to Holiday Tours procedures, client’s service level agreements and policy. 2) Achieving / exceeding KPI. 3) To oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up. 4) To lead the finance department to produce quality and timely financial reports, financial analysis and insights that can help senior leadership to make strategic decisions for the business. 5) To build and manage the finance team to act as the gatekeeper of the company financials and responsible of the financial health of the company. 6) To work closely with the other departments, make improvements on the procedures and controls to streamline processes and workflows. 7) Lead and manage the Finance team, which includes hiring of new staff, provide coaching and training to the team. 8) Responsible for timely Financial Management Reporting which includes Management Dashboards, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Profit & Loss Reporting, Budgeting, Cash Flow Management and Analysis Reports. 9) Perform in-depth analysis on business performance, provide professional judgement on financial matters and give recommendations on ways of improving. 10) Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis on future opportunities or new projects. 11) Identify gaps in workflows/processes, develop and implement Company Finance Policies and Procedures/Standard Operating Procedures. 12) Lead and manage the Budgeting, Target Setting & Forecasting process. 13) Liaise with external parties such as Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, Authorities and others. 14) Any ad-hoc assignment of financial reporting function. 15) Assist in Trade shows / Consumer shows when necessary i.e. MAS Travel fair, MATTA etc. 16) Any other duties at the discretion of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, AR’s and other transactions. 2. Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary. 3. Preparation of monthly and yearly management and financial reports P&L, cashflow, actual vs budget, forecast. 4. Provide insightful information and expectations to stakeholders and leadership to support in long-term and short-term decision making. 13. RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for all financial aspects of the school, while keeping within compliance of local laws and regulations, and company procedures. • Managing school operations i.e. monitoring fee collection, payment and cashflow. • Maintain accurate records and reconciliation of all accounts to ensure compliance with internal and external audit processes. • Reconciliation of revenue collected with operation/marketing team and bank • Implement GST as per the guideline • Assisting in implementing accounting policies and procedures. • Preparation of forecasted cash flow on monthly basis. • Maintain Fixed Asset register • Preparation of annual budgets • Coordinate and close MIS. • Responsible for annual audit and tax filling. • Coordinate secretarial works with Corporate finance and Company secretary • Ensure the Corporate policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times. • Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers / supervisors. RESPONSIBILITIES: •Monitoring the financial report of Owners / JMB / MC Accounts for properties within Klang Valley developed by Sunway Property •Managing and supervising the Finance Team which consists of GL, CCD and AP. There are in total 11 staffs under my supervision •Reviewing monthly report of respective projects (currently handling 17 projects), rolling forecast budget and site check arrangement for Finance Team •Ensuring on compliance of statutory requirements i.e. Audited Reports, Yearly Tax filing, GST Quarterly filings •Attending monthly meeting with JMB / MC for discussion of financial highlights and preparation of AGM •Reviewing and enhancing current SOPs available for better improvement •Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit trails are well-documented •Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards, i.e. Accounting Standards (MPERS) and Strata Management Act 2013 •Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results •Performs other ad hoc tasks or related duties as assigned.
