My core practice focuses on construction-related matters, including contract administration, dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration, and adjudication under CIPAA 2012), and recovery strategies. I have hands-on experience managing small to large scale project disputes, including payment claims, delay related matters, and contractor/employer risk allocation under standard forms of construction contracts. I work closely with external counsel, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that are legally sound and commercially practical, across both external and internal stakeholder contexts. I have been involved in managing and resolving complex and high-value disputes, contributing to recovery outcomes and the mitigation of legal and commercial risks. Beyond legal work, I am actively involved in broader business functions, including commercial strategy, business development initiatives, and project positioning. This includes supporting marketing and PR efforts, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to the overall value creation of development projects. My role often sits at the intersection of legal, commercial, and operational decision making, supporting management in evaluating risks and shaping outcomes. Acting as a bridge between management and various departments, I align legal considerations with business objectives and support the execution of strategies across the organisation in a practical and commercially driven manner. As my career progresses, I am increasingly focused on building a broader corporate and strategic skill set, with the long term aim of contributing at the C-suite level, recognising that the best solutions are often those that make sense both legally and commercially.
