The Career Center employs and trains Peer Advisors to perform basic resume and cover letter critique in drop-in sessions. In a productive week, each advisor sees an average of 8 students. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ -Critiqued and edited the resumes of students in 30-minute drop-in advising sessions. -Marketed the services provided by the Career Center through one-on-one conversations with students, parents, and alumni. -Attended weekly meetings with my supervisor in order to receive feedback and improve coordination and services amongst my peers. -Ensured all waiting students' needs were properly met. -Kept the front desk organized, including the monitoring of the Career Center equipment. -Performed clerical duties such as answering calls and checking-in appointments.
