We launched a new AWS service called Bedrock Data Automation as part of reInvent 2024 focused on converting unstructured multi modal data into a structured response with both extractive and generative inferences (https://aws.amazon.com/bedrock/bda/) After the launch, I worked on model migration and infrastructure updates that resulted in a 20% latency increase for our text detection in images. In addition, I led the effort to launch a new feature for optimizing extraction instructions documents (https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2025/12/bedrock-data-automation-optimization-document-blueprints/)
At AWS Rekognition, I built out the initial infrastructure for the launch of the Streaming Video Events feature. I also designed and launched the UpdateStreamProcessor API and led a major migration of over 30M+ accounts from a custom-built free tier infrastructure to a shared platform. In addition, I performed several live mitigations and root cause analysis of a wide variety of sev2 events during oncall shifts.
Designed and implemented end-to-end telemetry system for CAD software to track user command executions, delivering 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Built REST API server (Java) to ingest data from CAD clients into Azure-hosted NoSQL database, and developed comprehensive test coverage using JUnit and Pytest. Created JavaScript-based front-end with ChartJS visualizations for data analysis, owning the complete solution from architecture and technology selection through production deployment.
