Overseeing Google's Ads Planning products (managing 100+ people, 10+ products), across Brand and Performance Ads. Conceived and landed multiple new initiatives with large business impacts (each with $XBillions of revenue), with strong collaboration with x-fn teams (UX, PM, Business, PgM, Legal, etc) as well as external 3P measurement companies such as Nielsen, Kantar, etc. Overseeing teams across all stacks, including UIs, infrastructures, external APIs, GenAI, data pipelines, quality.
Conceived and launched Insights Finder, the first insights product suites for advertisers in Google. $XB yearly revenue impact. +50~250% impact growth every year to date. Responsible for the full stack across frontend, distributed infra, and insights generation engines.
One of the founding members of Google's computer vision initiatives, that are now a part of Google Lens. Set the foundational strategy and expanded image recognition capabilities, including expanding image recognition performance by 23x, image search infrastructure that handles billions of requests per day, etc.
Led Fulfillment Center automation and efficiency. Notable accomplishments are: * Improved package-processing efficiency by reducing 40% in packing time and 50~75% in associate labor in major fulfillment centers, by designing and implementing several automation solutions, including a new type of packing slip printing solution (reduced printing time by 86%), package routing logic based on line utilization, software to operate automatic marketing inserters, and more. * Reduced Amazon fulfillment centers’ item measurement work load by up to 90% in selected product lines by designing and implementing the automated solution to eliminate measurement request of related items. Used c++, Java, and perl.
Developed internal development tools and debugging tools for CDMA1xEV-DO (HDR/IS-856) cellular system. Used c++ for embedded and backend, and javascript for client code.
