Taught CSE 12 (Data Structures and Object Oriented Design). The transfer program, designed to accelerate incoming students into the UCSD system, consists of fewer students but more personalized help. I tutored and mentored about 30 students by providing face-to-face help in the labs as well as holding study sessions and spending time with them. In addition to helping the students directly, I helped plan out, administer, and grade assignments and exams.

  • Wireless Network Engineering Intern at Samsung Mobile
    Jun 2016 - Sep 2016 · 4 mos

As a software engineering intern at Samsung, I developed many applications and automation tools over a 11-week period. I worked under the 3G/4G Wireless Networks Core team, which dealt with the infrastructure behind Samsung's phones. I developed and released a filesystem navigator using C# that allowed any filesystem to be traversed using a tree layout and filtered to specific search terms, even within files, Additionally, I built automation tools for measuring network quality in Python that could parse sets of 100+MB files and generate a concise spreadsheet with results in mere minutes. In addition to my software development, I also researched and presented a talk about microservices and the concept's potential impact for the industry. My products have been used by my team often, so I am happy to know my works will not be left in the dust. Overall, I'm glad to have worked with my team over the summer, and I hope to apply the skills I learned in my future!
