Responsibilities • Leading design team members to meet time and quality goals through Pre-FIR and FDDD phases (design phase), project planning, resource allocation, managing variations of scope, training and mentoring designers for FTTC, HFC and MTM Service Area Modules (SAMs) • Liaising with NBN, LASA, APD and power authorities for design queries, land access and construction (Pit installation/Boring/Trenching etc.) permissions, aerial design engagement (pole loading assessment/certified aerial design pack etc.) and power application/approval • Liaising with field team for the design related concern and construction feasibility. • Managing NBN feedbacks/ Construction Management Service (CMS) feedbacks – Alfred Team to rectify the design issues and to maintain the minimum impact on the flow of the project • Meeting with related stakeholders regularly to provide feasible/alternative solution/feedback for urgent construction issue/concern and planning the timeframe to achieve the scheduled deadline
Responsibilities • Designing NBN MTM network (mainly HFC) by Mapinfo, AutoCAD, GDD, Microsoft Visio, NPAMS and FTTx Builder • Identifying/resolving errors and risks in the initial draft plan to comply with NBN regulations. • Strong understanding of construction – mandrel availability, pits, conduit, trench, bore, etc. • Optimising the design in the cost and efficient way
