I have worked in the Digital Agency industry for over 13 years, gaining vast experience in development principles, deployment strategies, mentoring, communication, and time and budget management. My experiences as a Developer and Technical Architect at VML includes me leading projects of various sizes. Although a Director, my role on projects requires me to be hands-on and a contributor at all stages of the SDLC. My greatest passion is technology, so when I'm not working I'm often found tinkering or programming away on personal projects, looking for a problem to solve.
VML acquired Rockfish Senior technical advisor to all departments in the Cincinnati office, providing subject matter expertise for planning, scoping, and implementation. Lead developer on high profile virtual assistants using Dialogflow, Actions on Google, and Alexa.
Primarily responsible for understanding which new technologies to utilize and then bringing the rest of the technology organization up to speed to implement. This includes (but not limited to) recommending which programming languages and technologies should be a part of the technical road map year after year as well as what 3rd party vendors should be used and/or partnered with. The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the development of complex sites and applications or large components of a web site or application with minimal supervision, direction, and oversight. The Senior Web Developer architects solutions from requirements gathering to data model to implementation.
Responsible for the development and deployment of Gyro's corporate public facing website (gyro.com). Developed, tested and maintained web applications for many of Gyro's largest clients. Responsible for the majority of all PHP development across the six North American U.S. offices.
