I served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club beginning in January 2012. I served in a multitude of roles including Board VP, Treasurer, and Secretary. In addition, I participated in various committees including Executive, Finance, and Resource Development. During this time, we saw tremendous growth in the organization including laying the groundwork for a large capital campaign to replace the existing lead facility.
Managed corporate audits and consulting projects around internal controls and business performance, primarily in the Manufacturing & Distribution and Construction industries for both SEC issuers (404 and non-404) and privately owned companies. Additionally, I performed work for clients in the software development, bioanalytical, and leasing industries. Additionally, I managed audits of employee benefit plans such as 401k's, 403b's, defined benefit and Health & Welfare plans for both SEC issuers and private companies. Additionally, my responsibilities also included new business development in Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio along with establishing relationships with Private Equity practices. Also, I led recruiting efforts for the Fort Wayne office and also participated in various campus recruiting efforts primarily at Purdue University. In addition to these responsibilities, I also led direct training of local and national team members and managed scheduling for the local office.
